铃木小提琴 Program

The University of Evansville 铃木小提琴 Program supports the mission statement of the University by serving as a long-established, well-respected music program for children and their families. Recognizing that the seeds of passion for lifelong learning are planted during children's formative years, the 铃木小提琴 Program is dedicated to teaching life skills and love of learning to children and their families through the study of music.

铃木小提琴 Program 概述

The University of Evansville 铃木小提琴 Program was founded in 1972 by Carol J. Dallinger, Professor Emerita of Music. 今天, one full-time and two part-time Suzuki Talent Education Specialists teach nearly 100 students, 年龄4-17, who come from throughout the Tri-State area.

While the purpose of Suzuki instruction is not to train students for professional careers in music, a number of graduates from the program have gone on to pursue outstanding careers as performers and teachers. Others have chosen different careers but have continued to keep music centrally important in their lives and the lives of their children.
